Kingdom Come expresses the culture of violence through the recklessness of the metahumans. There are many graphic depictions of the results of the metahumans fighting each other. In the article Killings on Campus by Neal Gabler, Gabler suggests that the group of people that are very susceptible to the violence “have always been alienated teenagers, and the media have always supplied models for them, often violent ones and yet most of them managed to resist emulating the violence. In fact, many observers have argued that the media may have the opposite effect: letting us displace our anger rather than vent it” (Gabler EP 87). In the video, it showed the process of the trial and both sides of the case. The lawyer in the video was defending Brenton Butler, the person accused of the incident and the lawyer truly believed that Brenton was not the person that committed the crime. Patrick McGuiness, the lawyer, went out of his way to not only prevent Brenton from serving life in jail, but to also get the real criminal that committed murder.
