2.1 Background & industry: Navitas, a for-profit education company, was founded in Australia in 1994, and listed on the ASX in November 2005. This global company is currently in the maturity stage of its life cycle. Currently Navitas has 3 divisions: University Programs, Professional & English Programs (PEP) and SAE (courses in creative media). In line with a rapidly increasing international market for education (Dagge 2014), Navitas has located its campuses and offshore marketing offices in such areas of the world as Australia, United Kingdom, Africa, Europe, Asia and United States.
