This agency was founded in 1882 and is one of several intelligence agencies that are currently based in the United States that collect and share information amongst the intelligence community. The Office of Naval Intelligence’s headquarters is currently in Suitland, Maryland and it is broken down into four centers of excellence within this agency. The four centers are tasked with different roles, and include the Nimitz Operational Intelligence Center, Farragut Technical Analysis Center, Kennedy Irregular Warfare Center, and Hopper Information Services Center (Intelligence, ONI Web Page). A little about the Office of Naval Intelligence is that they are Number One when it comes to giving information about anything that is maritime-related directly
