Naughty Dogs: The Last Of Us And Crash Bandicoot

Naughty Dogs’ about us page is good but a better description and illustration of their games could help strengthen their page. There are many feats the company went through to be known as they are today. Crash Bandicoot was a major success in the 90’s. A story about a mutated Bandicoot trying to stop the evil scientist who created him. The game made the company to become the most successful company on the Playstation console. Naughty Dog continued to have success for every game since then with the Jak Series then the Uncharted Series for Playstation 2 & 3. The older gaming community remembers these games for the experiences made playing these games. Now the Last of Us and Uncharted Four is what is in the trend. These games are what people think about when they hear the name Naughty Dog.
The gaming community hardly remembers Uncharted 1 or 2, the Jak Series and Crash Bandicoot Series gameplay and stories. What they remember is the Last of Us gripping, and dark

Not their history. Insight into their history is interesting, but The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 should be their main topic focus because essentially that is what people think of when you hear Naughty Dog. It is there brand. Who are the actors? How did you make the game? What led the force to create the game? Those questions are generally what people care about. The Blizzard about us page is a great example talking about the success of their games individually with games like World of Warcraft and Hearthstone. Even though Blizzard do seem to say more about their accomplishments I can see a story. I get more of a list off their accomplishments with Naughty Dog.
There is no story. There is little illustration. There is no visual. All I can see is what they done. Not the story of their work. The page gives a good summary of Naughty Dog past work but can improve on illustration and talk about more about their current

She is always calling me a woman, she claims I am in the mall more than she is and she could be right I could be sitting at home watching TV than next thing you know some new sneakers, or a new color of sneakers come out that I do not own and I am in the car.…

Video games are arguably even less associated with storytelling than comics are, with some critics believing “that the video-game form is incompatible with traditional concepts of narrative” (Bissel, 93). Where the medium truly excels, however, is with its capacity for immersion. Like how the addition of sound allowed filmgoers to not just watch the action but hear it, “Every new medium that has been invented … has increased the transporting power of narrative” (Rose, 36). Where readers of books and viewers of movies are passive, gamers take an active role in their narratives. In games like Mass Effect this means making key decisions that affect the development of the plot, but in games like Naughty Dog’s Uncharted and The Last of Us, this…

The promise that they had made when the game first came out was a lie and the hype of the original game had died within a week. I was very disappointed when the game first came out and so were many other people. Without listening to their games community, nothing will improve and the game will stay lackluster. One of game designer Jacob Benton states “We play the game incognito with fans all the time, for genuine feedback” (Wadeson). Ever since I can remember video games have always been my escape. On my ninth birthday I received my xbox 360 and since that day I have never look back. With my xbox I have made memories and friendships that will last life a life time. Although some believe things in life are either good or bad, it can be seen through Xbox that things are both good and bad, but it’s the proportion between good and bad that matters, this can be seen through new games, finishing games, and new systems that proves that a disproportionate amount of good versus bad creates good memories. With the Xbox there were many games that I have played that have taken me on hundreds of adventures.…
