Nature Vs. Nurture

These hormones tended to make me very emotional and sensitive. This is described by PBSKids.org as, “Your body is changing quickly, and you feel weird about it…You might feel extra-sensitive to criticism, or teasing, or just about everything. Little things might set you off. You might think that nobody understands you.” This definition sums up exactly how I felt. The littlest comment, could be preserved to me, as a critic. For example, one time a girl made a comment about my weight. Before the hormones had initiated themselves, I always made jokes about my weight and did not really care, however this time it made me very sad. To the point, where I told my mom I did not want to go to school anymore. It was like the littlest things pushed me over the edge.
