Cherry, K. author of many articles having to do with this subject writes, “The (nature versus nurture) debate centers on the relative contributions of genetic inheritance and environmental factors in human development,” therefore, the debated nature versus nurture explores whether genetics or environment have more influence in shaping individuals. What we learn does not only influence our behavior, it also shapes our attitude. Children rely very heavily on their caregivers, forming an attachment and looking to them for support when they’re in a stressful or scary situation. Modeling is the process of observing and imitating a specific behavior which is also very influential. We learn by imitating even when we don 't mean to.
