Nature Vs Nurture Research Paper

Nature vs Nurture has a been a debate in our history for an exceedingly long time. This arguement challenges the idea of whether your identity is based on your genetics or your environment, otherwise known as nature vs nurture. The difference of having blue eyes and having a cousin with green eyes is most likely a genetic trait. However, if you are a confident person and your cousin is not, is that due to their genetics or their environment? Numerous studies have been done attempting to answer this striking question, many involving identical twins. In cases involving identical twins, most were separated at birth. The purpose of being separated at birth is to accurately test if these two identical people will grow up to be unidentical (personality-wise) due to their enviroment. When Tamara and Adriana met for the first time, they realized how similar they actually were. They both had an immense love for dancing and they both recieved the same grades in school. Of course these similiarites raise the question, could this be due to genetics or could this be due to how these girls were raised? Their indistinguishable passions and marks were most likely due to a genetic trait. However, could the environment play a role in any of this? The environment these girls grew up in differed tremendously. Tamara was brought up as a strict Jew, living in the city for her whole life. On the other hand, Adriana lived in the suburbs and was raised to be a strict Catholic. Since Tamara grew up in a big city, she is much more outgoing than Adriana, who grew up in a much smaller city. In this aspect, their very different environments does play a big role in the argument of nature vs
