In an attempt to understand human development process many psychologists for centuries have come up with different development theories and one of them is nature vs nurture. It is the most debated and complex theory in the study of human development. Those who are strong supporters of the nature believe that gene and heredity factors play a predominant role in determining who we are—from our physical appearance to behavioral traits. They emphasize the influence of heredity, universal maturational processes guided by the genes, biologically based or innate predisposition produced by evolution, and biological influence such as hormones and neurotransmitter(cite) to understand the process of human development(cite). Physical development refers to the growth of the body and its organs, the functioning of the physiological systems including the brain, physical sign of aging, changes in motor abilities, and so on.(,4 )Similarly, cognitive development refers to changes and continuities in perception, language, learning, memory, problem solving and other mental processes.(,5) Considering this, I think I have developed strongest in the physical aspect and the weakest in the cognitive. While its opposite in the case of my sister. I have strong immunity power and metabolism. My periods are regular. I always have healthy weight and physiological system. However, my sister has too many health issues. Her periods are never regular. She is underweight since her childhood and has very weak immunity. Even a slight change in her food habit, location or weather would make her sick. But she has very good memory power and learning skills. Just by having the glimpse of the material, she understands the whole content. She never needs to struggle hard to learn anything. Likewise, she has sharp capacity of dealing with any problem. This is not the case with me. I take a long time to learn anything. I am a very absent minded person. To get the better understanding of anything, most often I need to read and reread the things. I often face difficulty in expressing my thoughts. That is why, I think I am weak at cognitive
