Do you think the parents life experiences can make it so we can predict a child’s behavior? For the longest time psychologist have been trying to figure out whether its nature or nurture that determines a person’s behavior. Nature refers to the the genes and hereditary factors that make you the person you are. Nurture has to do with the environmental variables, how you were raised, what you had to deal with growing up, relationships with others, and where/who you’re around. People are more curious of how much of nature or nurture is actually used to make up the person you are, so really do your parents’ life experiences make up who you are, or is it the child’s experiences? A child’s behavior isn’t based on their parent’s life experience.
