There are some study shows men are today’s primary shopper, some contend that men are actually do more grocery shopping than women, however, I firmly believe that women still dominate grocery shopping field. The best way to validate my thoughts is going to a grocery store and simply count heads of women and men. Thus, I decided to do this at the Safeway on Tassajara road.
I go to the Safeway on September 13th after school. After a brief tour, I find out most people come from the door at East, but there are no place to sit. Consider standing there for half an hour and staring at people with a pencil and a notebook is highly suspicious. I decide to sit in the Starbucks at the West part of Safeway. Despite there are fifty eight percent of women are working, the other part still constitute a respectable figure. Those women are doing the grocery shop for the whole family. Whereas, grocery store is not the only way for grocery shopping. In this era of technology, online shopping become practical and convenient. In addition, men have higher chance ordering food online. Through my own experience, the only person I know using online grocery shopping named Kevin. As a result of which, one third of women brought their kids with them. However, among forty nine of men only three men brought their kids. This indicates although women starts working, they are still from Venus. They are better at taking care of children than most of men, and better at keeping order among the
