Natural Selection is one of the most important aspects of Evolution. Alfred Russell Wallace was the first to discover the process of Natural Selection along with Charles Darwin. Although Alfred Russell Wallace was the first to discover the Evolutionary Process Darwin was the first to publish the basic principles of Natural Selection. Natural Selection is the process by which qualities are passed on from parents to offspring to make it more likely for an organism to survive and successfully reproduce. There are eight basic steps to the process of Natural Selection, the first step is that species reproduce faster than our food sources which means that species are overproducing and without predators overproduction will become an issue as well
