Native American Exploration Effects

The European exploration and colonization on the native people had many causes for what was happening. The people in England wanted to escape because of the religion. The explorers had glory and fame because they explored new things. Many people asked the explorers if they can explore or find something new, so the people who send them can have gold, riches, new material which would be their precious metals, and so they can find pathways to Asia, it was hard to find or even get through a pathway. The effects for the European exploration on the native people were that they were killing off people because of their religion and they also took their land. The rifle made them successful because when they hunted the got what they wanted and when they went into battle they won many times. Later on, the Europeans weapons began to become stronger and more powerful than the native americans weapons. The native americans wanted the weapons that the europeans had so the began to trade whenever they could. The native americans homes were formed into a circle, but there was no wall around their homes so they can be safe. The europeans villages were small, but they did have a wall to keep the native americans away. Native americans had spiritual live and prayed for many things. European settlers wanted to change the lives of the native americans by forcing them to being christians but the native americans resisted all efforts. There was as many as 300 native languages spoken. Over time the languages began to disappear and Europeans languages especially english began to be used more. Trading was a way that the europeans and native americans related. William Penn knew it was important to have a good relationship with the native americans so he signed a peace treaty with the Delaware Indians. The native americans helped the pilgrims survive so the pilgrims wanted to thank them. The Europeans took the native peoples land and that made the native people mad. The Europeans pushed the natives to the west. The spanish wanted to control the european settlers and the french wanted to trade with them.
