Nationwide Children's Hospital Case Study

On 05/07/17, at 7:20pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to Nationwide Children’s Hospital (700 Children’s Drive) on a injury-possible dangerous or vicious dog, no known owner. I arrived at the hospital and met victim Shanisa Newell. Shanisa mother (Sharese Newell) had yet to arrive at the hospital; I waited until her arrival at approximately 8:20pm. Prior to Shanisa mother arriving I took a picture of her injuries as the medical staffs were addressing her wound. Once Ms. Newell arrived at the hospital I explained her option, I explained that since the dog owner took the dog our options are limited until we can locate the dog owner. Ms. Newell stated that she still wanted to file a report in regards to the incident. Shanisa

I arrived at the postal service office to speak to the victim Dennis Grappin.
