I see it in sports a lot. In the NFL a dude called Colin Kaepernick started this whole debate when he kneeled during the national anthem. This rose a lot of controversy because a lot of people don’t think that it’s right. It also got too out of hand because people misunderstood what he was doing and it got into a big mess. This I think represents nationalism well because the people who caused a mess really was proud of their nation and had strong thought about that, so they stood up for what the believed in before knowing the other side of the story. I also see nationalism at the fourth of July. As many of you probably already know but that is the independence day of America. Every walks around and declares of how proud they are of the country.
