In Wisconsin the location is usually around Madison. Some of the events include: Leukemia Ball, Student Of The Year, Ryan Kerrigan Golf Classic, and National Pancake Day. National Pancake Day is special because it is sponsored by IHop, and anyone who comes in recieves a free stack of pancakes and are asked politely to donate to the LLS. All of these events need volunteers so you can help with: planning the event, promoting the event, registering participants at the door, and clean up/set up.
My charity collects money for multiple purposes. One of them is to do cancer research projects. They have 268 going on right now in total. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has invested $49.3 million in these projects. Other things they do are sponsor scientific conferences around the country, produce educational videos, run family support groups, and pay for cancer treatments.
