Being considered to be a member of the National Honor Society is an immense honor. It is a rewarding feeling to know that my hardwork in school from a young age has paid off. I am a hardworking, honest, and reliable student, and joining NHS would be a wonderful opportunity to grow as ayoung adult and honors student.

As a leader in many after school activities such as Boy Scouts, Altar Serving, Ushering, and in my family, I believe that I would fit well in the National Honor Society. Boy Scouts, as well as Altar Serving, has taught me that others may not be up to date with the activity at hand, which means that you must tell them, and teach them the skills needed. Altar Serving and Boy Scouts need teamwork, and communication to be successful. Teamwork is what allows the process of different activities happen, and without teamwork everything would not be smooth or it would not work completely. Ushering and family life has taught me that you must work as a team, but by doing your own work, and making sure that everything is done when it is needed.…
