I taught children how to become healthy and strong by eating the types of food grown locally. I go over, with my group, every month, and prepare a lesson. We allow the children to try new foods, do fun activities to stay in shape, and be healthy. We give each other an opportunity to talk with the first graders and teach them a little something about nutritious foods. I looked forward to teach them every month.
Also during, my freshman year, high school I was a part of the girl scouts, Troop 75. It was a great knowledge to be a Girl Scout leader because we got to go on different trips, help the community out, and be an example for the younger children to be a leader not a follower. I learned how to become a better person and live by the Girl Scout Rule, which is basically the golden rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
It would be such an honor to be selected to represent the National Honor Society. I hope you take your time and select carefully and wisely. Like I mentioned before, I have a passion in helping others that are in need of extra help. I make an enormous attempt to use all 6 pillars of character. People, who have a tendency to encourage themselves to build a better character, have a greater successful life. I desire to be someone with, not just good character, but an outstanding character
