As a student, I feel that I meet the National Honor Society’s academic standards. First, simply, that I have even been considered for membership. Throughout my high school and middle school careers, I have strived to maintain a 4.0 GPA, and have always obtained that goal. Along with this, I have never received lower than honor roll. For the duration of my academic career, I have been advanced in some areas of scholarship. These include math and science, and lately I have been pushing myself to advance in other areas, by taking rigorous courses, including AP European History and IB Chemistry. I believe that my solid academic record exhibits the scholar requirements required for entrance into the National Honor Society. As a leader, I feel that I exemplify the characteristics required for the National Honor Society. For as long as I can remember, my family has taught me that you are supposed to do good things, not looking for any reward. I have maintained this motto throughout my life. This shows true as my accredited service hours equate to almost 1000, just in these 3 short years of high school. I volunteer for the Hilton Raiders to be their teen coach, help in Make a Difference Day, and have participated in multiple walks to raise awareness for a numerous amount of causes.
