National Honor Society Analysis

The values and standards of National Honor Society are the four important pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. A person needs to represent all four pillars to uphold the honor of National Honor Society, just like a table with four legs must balance a table. I have developed through the years to be a strong leader, holding the table of scholarship, leadership, service, and character and I would be so very honored to hold this leadership with National Honor Society. Scholarship is holding myself to a high standard, academically and socially. I display a strong sense of scholarship as I have maintained the Highest Honor Roll each grade of my High School career, Middle School and even Elementary School, I love to learn! My current GPA is 4.3, and I am an extremely dedicated and inquisitive scholar. I am also an active member of two academic, professional clubs: Pine Richland’s Forensics Speech and Debate League and Future Business Leaders of America. My sophomore year, I was honored to receive the Music Department Award, which reflected my passion and high-level of involvement in Pine-Richland’s Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble. …show more content…
My leadership skills are strong as I am currently the Student Government Junior Class Secretary, which I have maintained this position also during ninth and tenth grade. I also hold current leadership roles as the Spanish Club President, and Amnesty International Event Coordinator. In addition, I have initiated and successfully complted my Girl Scout Silver Award. I created a community project to assist immigrating children in the community. Currently, I am working on my Girl Scout Gold Award, by developing a Music Therapy program at the St. Barnabas Nursing Home
