Colin Kaepernick of the 49ers first started kneeling during the national anthem Colin believed that there were some wrongdoings to Africans and other wrongdoings to minorities. He was right and everybody knew that he was right but didn't like the way he disrespected the flag and their country. This year the kneeling during the national anthem has really gotten a lot of attention from the media. A lot of people are starting to agree with the player's decisions and saying that they mean good but are just trying to clarify the problems in the US.

Kneeling during the National Anthem is spreading to other sports, such as football, soccer, basketball, baseball etc. Not just in the pros, colleges and high schools are doing it too. It's to show support and to tell everyone that they care.
The NFL can not do anything to stop the players from kneeling. It's their right to freedom of speech. Denying that right is against the law. The NFL is trapped, they can't stop the players from protesting and they cant stop the critics. So unless one of the group's quits the ongoing war between them, it’s just going to keep going.
The NFL is trying to resolve this issue. The players are trying to be heard. The media is trying to get everyone to know about this issue. The people are trying to understand and chose a side in this
