Nathaniel's Response It is important for a teenager to exercise throughout his/her teenage years. According to Alice Park, author of article 1 "Teens are just as sedentary as 60 year old's", she explains that "Children should get at least moderate-to-vigorous exercise a day"(Park 4). Exercise gives teenagers the benefit of weight loss, increase muscle strength, stronger bones, lower heart rate, positive moods, and improved complexion.
First, Teens should really exercise more often because of the benefits that are provided. When you exercise, "...it causes the body to burn stored fat and helps people maintain a desired weight" (Park 4). It doesn't take much to exercise either, walking, running, stretching, cleaning, those are all exercises
