Nathan Taylor Research Paper

I have been doing art all my life with the influence of my father, who is a professional artist at inka gallery, Salamanca. He has introduced me to art and the techniques of oil painting, such as never to use black paint but use purple, brown and blue to make a dark paint colours, the way to use the art brushes properly and many more influences and techniques. From all the variety of art that he has showed me I would have to say that oil paint was my favour medium to use in the art world, due to how easy I find it and an easier medium to work with.
When I came into art production this year I had an idea of drawing my favourite skateboarders. But further on the year I knew I could do so much better so chose to paint the famous skateboarders on used skateboards, which till now I enjoy doing and want to further this continuation of my sequence of boards.

He had inspiring teachers who encouraged his good works and pushed him to become an artist. Taylor was drawn to painting to pursuit challenges and the ability to take life on his own, which expressed his ideas to his themes.
Taylor paints in his studio above a car rental place in Hobart’s CBD in an art deco building. He calls him studio his home, associated with good friends and other artists who cooperated with each other’s views and techniques.
Nathan usually paints from photographs that he had taken by himself and use them for a role of practice. He keeps a visual diary, documenting all the photographs and the evolution of ideas he has had for years.
