The book The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande is the story of how Gawande, a surgeon and Harvard professor, implemented the usage of a safe surgery checklist through the World Health Organization. In the book, he describes what inspired him to start the journey to safer and more efficient surgeries, and along the way shows how applicable the ideas behind a checklist are into our daily lives.
