Character Analysis: Gamma Phi Beta

Natalie Bantis is the type of woman who lights up the room the moment she enters. Natalie is a senior studying Education and is looking forward to devoting her life to helping others. Within Gamma Phi Beta, Natalie is very involved. She attends all chapter meetings, and other sorority events. At each event, Natalie checks in with the vast majority of the chapter to make sure they are feeling their best. Natalie loves to build her sisters up and encourage them to be who they truly are. Natalie was one of the first people I met when I joined Gamma Phi Beta, and she proved to me that Gamma Phi Beta was the place for me. After stepping into her role, half way through last semester, Ariel Peele is one of the best things that could happened to our chapter. Ariel is producer at 9News and whenever she is not producing a show, she is helping better our chapter. Ariel is married to a Kappa Sigma Alumni and they have a cat named Minnie, but Ariel always says that “Gamma Phi Beta is her family”. Before Ariel became our chapter advisor, she was taking on the responsibilities and ultimately going above and beyond. Ariel works well over 40 hours a week, but every free moment she gets, she is at our chapter meetings, other events and just spending time with our members. Ariel’s main priority is the safety and happiness of our members. This past year, our chapter initiated a new Emergency Response Plan and with the help of Ariel we were successfully able to determine the safety of our members in cases of an …show more content…
We value sisterhood and will do anything for our sisters. Sisterhood is not about the fun events we do, but sisterhood is knowing you can reach out to any sister and they will be there. Sisterhood is having someone drive you to the airport when you lose a relative. Sisterhood is someone buying you flowers after a really long week. We all have our struggles, but at Gamma Phi Beta, we always have someone who will help build you up. I have always appreciated our sisterhood. I continue to value others and experience new things because of our sisterhood. If our sisterhood wasn’t as strong as it is, there wouldn’t be a Gamma Phi Beta.
