NASCAR executives, realizes that they must do more in order to spread awareness of the brand. Therefore, by launching the regional racing series NASCAR will promote rivalries, increase fan attendance, and increase sponsor participation. Furthermore, these advantages are part of the sustainability objectives highlighted above. This expansion, will allow the organization to establish a strong branding strategy that will resonate across the regions. The first initiative is infiltrating local media in the targeted regions. Running ads on local media can, boost awareness for NASCAR. Furthermore, the advertising will help create a presence and anticipation among the target participants and organizations (Rampton, 2013). Promoting on local media, will also add value and provide more forums of awareness for the local region. …show more content…

Marketing communications includes conveying and sharing meaning between buyers and sellers, either as individuals, firms, or between individuals and firms” (p.179). More importantly, the regional series events can be assigned names that relate with the names of the respective areas.
