The Ride of Our Lives
Greeting: Welcome Mr. Cittadino, Dr. Simon, Dr. Londregan, Mrs. Ziemba, Board of Education members, faculty, family, friends, and fellow classmates: Life is a rollercoaster and it is far from a flat one. We all know that like any ordinary ride, most rollercoasters have the potential to travel up, down, and upside-down. Even with all of these intricate maneuvers, if the ride is constructed properly, all of the thrill-seekers aboard should always wind up sitting upright with sunny smiles of satisfaction stretched across their faces. As we take a ride on our life’s rollercoaster, we will all experience some ups, downs, and times when the world feels like its flipped, however, it is up to us to make sure that we always end

While the fun times such as the dance, the Six Flags Great Adventure trip, and the barbeque were certainly memorable and entertaining occasions, all of the charitable donations and fundraisers we participated in are the true days to hold onto, as they are the times when majority of the character-building took place. The real, noteworthy peaks of our rollercoaster rides are the times when we had the opportunity to help people in need through organizations including the G.I.GO Fund, the Make a Wish Foundation, Habitats for Humanity and countless others. The powerful, heart-warming photographs of recovering U.S. veterans, healthy children, and people in new homes that we took part in constructing are testaments to the hard work and effort we all put into nurturing and helping out our community. It is events like these that aid less fortunate people in unimaginable measures and also bring us a priceless joy and peacefulness that only an action purely from the heart can create. Over the coming years, we may forget formulas from algebra or some science vocabulary terms that we learned in class, however these times of charity and care are the experiences that will latch onto us, bring us together, and make all of us better people as we ride our rollercoasters into the …show more content…
These past three years have been unforgettable and we will all take these experiences with us as we move forward to high school, college and onward. As fast and rare as a summer breeze, our middle school time is over and an entirely new part of our lives is just initiating, however, we will never fail to remember all of the wonderful people we met during our stay at Sandburg. On behalf of my eighth grade class, I’d like to express our gratitude to all of those in this room who have helped us to succeed, learn, and thrive over the past three years. Teachers, administrators, faculty, friends, and family, thank you for giving us the guidance we needed to grow into well-rounded, good-natured, and bright young adults. We will always remember your efforts to aid, teach, and be there for us when it was most wanted. It has truly been an honor to speak in front of so many distinguished guests this fine evening. So congratulations fellow peers for graduating tonight, but just know that this is not where your rollercoaster concludes. Your past here was good, but your future is bright. Let your dreams soar ahead, reaching new altitudes. Don’t let any anyone tell you that your rollercoaster is too high, and I wish you all the best on the ride of your

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

Good Morning, Mount Alvernia parents and friends support network, college leadership team and the board of directors. As you know, this year marks the 60th anniversary of Mount Alvernia College, educating women in the Franciscan tradition. In order to celebrate this incredible milestone, I propose the school holds a ball with a theme that looks back on our journey over the last 60 years. In physics there's many things to learn such as various types of G-forces and even energies. The amount of things that I have learned throughout my days in class was the use of energy. The two types of energy is Potential Energy and Kinetic Energy this was used to to tell that velocity PE (Potential Energy) and the motion of KE (Kinetic Energy) of roller coasters which was one of the things that was taught this year PE was the highest point of the roller coaster. And KE is to tell the motion if it has enough speed to reach another part of the coaster to make it not stop and have it end safety this is only down if there is enough PE for the roller coaster to keep going. G-forces positive G-force which is the force going up and forward, negative G-force a force going up and backward, linear G-force going up and down, and lateral a G-force going forward and backward.…

I will like to thank the Head teacher for officially inviting a son of this school. To the graduates, 26 years ago at Crane Primary School, I was in your position, in a smaller school though.
