Narrative Essay: Who Was Wade Wilson's Life?

A month had passed, which had instilled a day for celebration. It was exactly one month ago that Wade Wilson, or more widely known as Deadpool, killed his nemesis, Ajax, putting him to rest for eternity. Summer was turning into fall, and the sugar maple leaves were tinged with a brilliant shade of maroon. In this month, Wade let thoughts Ajax slip into the abyss of his mind, and he instead decided to focus on building a life for himself along with his beloved, Vanessa. As soon as he scrounged up the money, he was able to afford only a studio apartment, which are costly in a bustling city like New York. Up to this one-month celebration, Wade and Vanessa had lived a modest life, which was focused on building themselves, but this was soon to change. Wade was a lone wolf and had few close friends. A total of four people made an appearance at his celebration, which was perfectly fine with him. Wade, Vanessa, and their guests seated themselves on the tattered sofa and the floor just beneath it as they ate celebratory hot pockets. Wade …show more content…
As he was laughing to himself at how easy this would be, he strolled to the laboratory where his immortal self was first created. As he turned the street corner, he saw a man dressed in all black standing before him. On his face were those reflective sunglasses that looked like rainbow colored mirrors.

“Hey what’s going on man? Put a smile on that cute little face of yours!” Wade taunted the stolid man. Knowing that this man was trouble from the start, Wade decided he could lighten his situation by joking around with the man; however, this usually never worked for him. The man in black turned his head to look behind him towards the ominous street alleys. As if on command, six other men of similar stature glided out from the darkness, each holding a silver handgun.
