Personal Reflective Essay: Why I Play Volleyball

One time I was talking to my sister and she said why don’t you play volleyball. I said I don’t know anything about it. She said she will teach me so we went outside and get a ball. She told me how to pass and at first I didn’t get it, but then I finally got it. She then told me how to set and hit. Then I started to get the tech of it and I played to play after that. I thanked her for her help and I have been playing ever since. My talent is volleyball I love to play everyday and it my life. It a talent because I get compliments on it and I have got a lot better at it. I use my talent by doing everything I can to go on the court and play. I get complimented in practice everyday over part of my skills. For example one day I was at practice and I did a good pass to the setter so the hitter could it it. My team said good job and my coach said keep it up. I have been playing ever since I was in the 1st grade outside and then in 3rd grade I start to play rec. ball. My coach told me this year that i’ve improve. I played Rampage in the spring and summer. That what help me a lot. I use my talent in a bunch of way.

For example, I go outside and play. I do everything I can to go on the court and try out for teams. I ask my coach if I can help and play. I ask my sister all the time to play. I love my game and when I do make the team I don’t like to set on the bench. So I ask my coach if I can play. I am on the CCMS team and I try my best to get playing time. Develop your talent is to work hard.

Lastly, develop your talent is not easy I work really hard at it. For example I do it everyday and everything I can to get better. Everyday I was on the court or outside. My sister help me with it a lot as my coach and I would go outside and play with my family. My mom help me too she told me to listen to and I did better and better.
