Narrative Essay: The Simple And Peaceful Days Of My Life

Improved Essays
It was a perfect summer day. The sky was clear and there was cool light breeze. My family and my friend’s family were having a picnic in our backyard. I played tag with my little brother, Tommy, and my friend, Lucas. After that, we took turns using the tree swing. Then we went to go eat. After we were done eating, we laid on the grass. We stared into the orange sky, while holding a popsicle. When it was near the end of the day, Lucas, and his family left. Me and my brother shared a bedroom and at night my mom would read us bedtime stories. After about 15 minutes, Tommy would fall asleep, and my mom would leave the room and she would smile back at us at the door. This was just setup so that I could get rid of you without the family knowing what really happened, and guess what you fell for it easily,” Thomas laughed hysterically. “So you got this Alastor. There are 3 guys behind us, one of them at 11 o'clock, the other at 12 o'clock, and the third, 1 o'clock,” Luke whispered. “I will kill you here, and report to the family that you didn’t survive the mission” Thomas laughed. As we walked on the beach, I took him there, and then he sat down, and he tried to ease his pain by drinking the booze from the warehouse. Now was the moment I could achieve my revenge. I took my gun out quickly, and aimed it at

“You knew all this time,” I asked.
“Yeah, I see it in your eyes, just like on that night. Now shoot me! I know what I did to your family was wrong, and I deserve it,” said Luke.
I lowered my gun, and the feeling of wanting revenge was gone.
“I can’t because you saved my life multiple times, but now I have no purpose. I lived a miserable life because of you. Each and everyday I lived so that I could one day kill you,” I said.
I walked towards the ocean. Luke then took out his gun.
“I didn’t want to kill you either, but I hate seeing the way you are right now,” said Luke. Then, I heard a gunshot, and slowly all the colors started to fade, and it became dark. In the distance however was a light. A light that brought warmth, and it also felt familiar. I walked towards it, and there I saw my family, waiting for
