Narrative Essay: The Case Of Cynthia Walsh's Home

Officers were dispatched to 309 Virginia Avenue for an unknown problem with a female down.

Officers arrived on scene and were greeted by Cynthia Walsh's older sister, neice and boyfriend. They said they found Cynthia in her vehicle lying down in the back seat. The vehicle was parked inside the garage with all the doors of the vehicle and garage closed. The vehicle had a large amount of visible condensation throughtout the entire of the vehicle.

Walsh was removed from her vehicle and placed inside the ambulance where she began to have cardiac problems and learned she had a low blood sugar which continued to drop. EMS personell was actively working on the patient and requested this officer to have a county dispatcher send Life Flight to the

Medics are unsure and concern wherther the patient overdosed on a drug or if there could be a carbon dioxide poison.

When officers arrived on scene of Cynthia Walsh's home we advised the family and medics that we have been at the home the day prior for other issues and several times throughout this day to return found keys to Walsh that were turned in at the station yesterday evening. I checked the vehicle that Walsh was inside for fuel which showed one quarter of a tank and the engine was cold. It was not immediately whether she had the vehicle running at anytime during the day or night prior but the only key we could locate for the vehicle was the one we had at our station.

I located ZOPIDEM TEVA 74 lying on the back seat floor and LUPIN 20 in the wallet located next t the patient.

While at the landing zone I attempted to contact family members of Cynthia to see if there was anything medically wrong with Cynthia that they did not advise us of specifically if she suffers from diabetis, hypoglycema, or anything that would cause her blood sugar level to continuously drop and to advise them that Cynthia is being transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital but I was not able to make contact with
