Narrative Essay: Saif's Growing Up

A man storms in with a large gun Saif is trying not to breath under the floorboards He hears screaming and gunshots When he opens his eyes he sees a tall man The man is shooting his sisters When the rebel is sure the little girls are dead he Kills Saifs mother. The man leaves. Saif waits until darkness to climb out of the floor So overwhelmed with sadness he drags his mother's limp body to her room
Saif cried till he couldn't cry anymore, then he just sat there wishing, wishing he could have stopped her death, saying it was all his fault
Saif fell asleep on his mother's dead body. The soldier's booming voice woke Saif up
