On the exact day, August 19, a thousand miles from Oxford, Mississippi, my home, Me, my friends, and the soldiers enter the border of France. Our main target: liberating Paris from the Germans that took it over a few months ago. On the day I was about to leave, I entered the ship and say goodbye to the friends I made at the University of Mississippi.

Eisenhower is that German commander is hiding to

Many of our tanks came rolling in the Paris, destroying the barricades and blasting any of the German snipers they see. Then we see the planes dropping bombs on the tanks and buildings housing the German soldiers. Once the way is clear, we then make our move. We are going to stop Choltitz once and for all.
We surround the hotel where Choltitz is hiding. We got inside taking out the soldiers along the way. We finally com inside the room where Choltitz is hiding. We then point our guns directly to him and then he surrendered to us. This is the victory for us and the Allies.
While we were able to stop Choltitz, the liberation of Paris was a success. However, the war isn’t over yet. Taking back Paris is just another step in defeating Hitler and his army. Commander Leonard said that we did really well out there. We save many civilians that are trapped and using their own weapons against them.
Now that Paris is liberated, our next stop is to get inside Berlin and stop Hitler. Not going into much detail, we beat the Germans and won the war in Europe. After a while, I look at my locket and looked at my memories. My leg won’t be stable for the next few years but I was awarded for fighting in the war. When will the next war happen? Only time will

On August 25, 1944 Paris was liberated by Allied forces just seven weeks after the Normandy landings. Hitler’s order to have the city razed to the ground, an order executed in the cultural capitals of Warsaw and later by the Allied forces in Berlin, was not realized and French troops loyal to the resistance fought off German forces and reclaimed the city without the use of urban warfare. On the same day that Paris was liberated General Charles de Gaulle, leader of the Free French resistance movement and the future President of the Fourth French Republic, addressed the newly freed nation for the first time: Why do you wish us to hide the emotion which seizes us all, men and women, who are here, at home, in Paris that stood up to liberate…

On the 8th of May, 1945, the bloodiest war in human history, which lasted for 6 years and concluded with 58 million deaths1, officially ended. However, it was the Red Army 's participation since 1941, which played by far the most notable and crucial role in the defeat of the Nazis, nevertheless it would have not been able to accomplish this without the help of the US, and the catalystic miscalculations of Hitler 's Nazi Germany. One of the main reasons for the Allied powers winning the war, was the number of critical miscalculations which Hitler had made throughout it, which led the the acceleration of the Allied victory. One of the greatest examples of this was during the battle of Britain, in 19402, when Hitler miscalculated the force of the RAF, which…
