“Mom, why can't I go Trick or Treating?” John wasn’t able to go Trick- or -Treating, his mom was too worried. “Because, I don’t want you to get hurt”, said mom worryingly. Mr. and Mrs. Peters oldest son, Jeremy got a broken leg going Trick- or -Treating. Apparently he jumped out of a house and is still recovering after one year.
“I won’t”
“No”
“Please”
“No”
“Come on”
“No, it's too hazardous. If you are doing this for the candy I’ll by you some”
“Well Tom’s picking me up at 5:45 so you have no choice”
“Fine, go but you will have a punishment for the next 2 weeks from T.V”
“I can live with that”
“Plus, a month of no friends over or you go to any friends house”
“How about 3 weeks”
“Nope”
“2 weeks”
“A month”

“I'm going in” John had no choice but to follow. When they opened the door a big draft came through. They walked in and there was a great stairway and a hallway at the top that goes either way. Tom started walking up. Then went up the stairs “You go that way I go this way” Tom demanded pointing the other way. Tom started walking but John just stood there. “Can we stay together”
“Come on, we will meet here in ten minutes ok.”
“Ok fine”
“See you in ten”
John walked down the hall turned left than right than left than came to a dead end. It’s been about five minutes and it will take me about five to get back so I should head back.
John started walking back but a door he didn't know was there shut. He grabbed the handle and started shaking the door. He screamed. Tom on the other side of the house said “What is it” He ran as fast as he could to the other side of the room. Then the door on his side shut. John screamed “ Jump out the window”
“No it’s too high”
“It’s 7:30 my mom will be here in 30 minutes. Just jump”
