Narrative Essay On Trampoline

It was an unquestionably scorching June evening, three years ago. I would be going into fifth grade. My mom had just dropped me off at the tumbling gym for an open practice. I couldn’t wait to start practicing. I had been looking forward to the open gym all week. I walked into the gym and almost everyone was already there, I think there were about twelve people. I started practice with the regular routine, stretching and doing warm up passes. Once I was stretched I went to floor and started doing my passes like usual. Since it was open gym we could go on whatever we wanted to. I couldn’t wait for trampoline, but I still wanted to get some passes in on floor before I went to trampoline. Although I really wanted to work on new skills, I still had to practice my pass. I was just jumping getting ready to start my pass when all of the sudden I hit my ankle wrong and just collapsed on the trampoline. I remember that I didn’t want anyone to think that I was a wimp so I tried doing a couple more passes. I could barely even walk, so they weren’t pretty at all. Thankfully, there was only a couple more minutes left in practice now. Once my mom picked me and my sister up I told her that my ankle hurt. She said “Shake it off, it can’t hurt that bad. It’s not bleeding, and I don’t see any bones.” When I got home, I limped inside and propped my leg up on a pillow. When my family saw that I was icing it, they just thought I was being a drama queen. I was anticipating going to practice the next day, but I just couldn’t shake it
