The Zombie Apocalypse

It all started on September 24, 2018….everyone was screaming and running every direction. All that was left was a group of 11 teens with only knives as weapons. Each one of them carried a bag with food, water, sleeping bags, sharp weapons, and a flashlight with a couple of batteries. I was scared and so was everyone else in my group. I couldn’t believe it...the zombie apocalypse had finally come. “Okay guys, wake up; it’s morning!” I whispered to my friends who were sleeping.
They all were tired and so was I, but we needed to find more food and weapons. I ate a granola bar and was getting ready for the other guys to pack up and get ready to leave.

The next morning I began to stir.
“Uhh..what happened to me?” “You fainted,” said Dereck. My head was pounding hard, trying to remember what happened. It hurt my head too much to think about it. “Alright, I’m better so let’s get going.” After two hours we made it to food store. We split up into 3 groups of 4 to look for food, water, weapons, or anything useful. “Okay the groups are Dereck, Ethan, Tommy, and Wyatt. You will look for food. Jonah, Caleb, Kaleb, and Rob will be looking for water, batteries, and flashlights and Tre, Roberto, Paul, and I will look for weapons.” I said getting everyone in their groups, “Group one will look in the far right side of the store, group two will look on the far side of the store in the food section with group one. My group will look in the workshop area.” Everyone nodded their heads and went in their places. My group went to the workshop area and I was in for a shock. Everywhere I looked were bandits. “Guys duck down slowly and quietly...there are a plethora of bandits out there in this area.” I whispered. “What weapons do they have?” asked Roberto who was now rocking back and forth with his hands in his
