“Wir müssen diesen Ort ein für allemal verlassen! Wir müssen irgendwo in Sicherheit gehen, damit wir friedlich leben können.” Said their parents. Two german kids and their parents were sent to the Nazi concentration camp. They got uncomfortable staying at the camp so they tried to leave. The parents tried to fight their way out, but the Nazis soldiers killed them; not the kids. They were safe, so they sent the two kids back to the camp. The two kids are german Jews, Leon Weber and Finn Herbert, are trying to escape the camp, but when they saw their parents lying on the ground dead, they realized that they lost them and they’ll have to get past the Nazi soldiers in order for them to escape. Just for a few minutes, I heard two soldiers walking right to our location. They probably didn’t hear us. They’re most likely searching around the area looking for Jews trying to escape. Finn noticed and heard the soldiers coming down this way too. “Hurry! That dumpster! We can hide in there.” said Finn, trying to whisper. We both went inside the dumpster and hid until they leave. Inside the dumpster was trash bags, nothing surprising. We were lucky we hid in the dumpster before they caught us. We waited until they leave, there’s this hole we, or I can see if it’s clear. “Great… It smells.. great. I can also smell the cigarette smoke from here.” he said. We can both smell both the terrible smell of trash and smoke. So we tried not breathing in. It’s just two soldiers smoking a cigarette, probably not doing their …show more content…
I stopped where we hid and I found myself cloth near the “public restroom” “This should help heal my leg” I said while I was wrapping where the gunshot wound is at. Something dripped onto my hand coming from my face. I wiped my face and realized, it was tears, after seeing the death of my brother. It was hard losing him, seeing him die in a cruel way. I started to cry. Then I heard soldiers running behind me. I started to run, leaving the restroom and climbing on top of the dumpster, looked behind me and saw a couple soldiers saying, “Da drüben!!” (over there.) and below me was a drop so I jumped down and felt pain on my legs.
I tried to get over the pain and it started to feel like nothing. I started to question myself, “Was it the cloth?” then I realized it was the shock of me seeing my brother’s death. That helped me a lot, but I was still limping. I started to run as fast as I can. I can see the exit right behind a soldier looking at the opposite direction. “An exit!!” I started sprinting, limping a little bit, but I was going as fast as I can to

It was cold and ordinary evening on March 5, 1770, when I was walking down King street with my friend Henry. As were walking past the Custom House a young wig maker's apprentice walked up to a British soldier and insulted him because he had not payed for a wig. Another British soldier had walked out and scolded the young boy for disrespecting a British soldier. The boy exchanged insults with the soldier so he pulled out his musket and struck the boy on the side of the head. A stream of chills rushed through my body when I witnessed that.…

The Battle of Liberty (Confederate Victory) The date was September 17, 1861. I remember only because I wrote a letter home that very morning. I could tell early that day that things were brewing, all the men could. I got off my horse and as I walked off to a corner, I could smell the fear in my men grow by the second. The time before the battle trembled down, but I knew that with this amount of fear we would never win. I got on top of a pillar and looked around, in the past two days my army decreased nearly by half. Every man was scared, I could see the look in their eyes as I stared at them and they stared back with great distress. I start to call the force lineup “Attionnnn…” And realized that the field that was once full of happy animals had now become a deserted land of cold a lifeless place where in just moments rivers of blood would flow and brothers would kill brothers. .…
