The alarm started going off and I started to crawl out of bed. I was actually excited, but it was to early and to cold to be up. I grabbed my duffle bag, board, and some food. I got in the car and looked out the window processing the task I was about to go and accomplish.
I had arrived to the school thinking this will be grand. I leap onto the bus expecting to sit with a friend. As I saw all the faces I some what recognized I noticed there was no spot for me. As I scanned the bus the only spot open was next to the secretary. I plopped into the seat. I started to introduce myself and she seemed to be really nice. We chatted for the hour long bus ride talking about so many things. As I peered out the window I noticed we had arrived.

As I tried to stand up I couldn’t. I just assumed I couldn’t stand up because of my weight. I would say this because I wasn't good at balancing my weight. It may seem easy, but it is such a hard task.
As I stood up I fell down, or I fell before I got up. I tried and tried to stand up, and by the end my butt was so sore. Now just imagine you're sitting down freezing. Then you stand up what you think is of so graceful. After that you fall flat on your butt on concret. Now, repeat that about 80 times. Yeah it was that bad. I eventually made it to the bottom of the hill then the scary thing happened. I had to get on the ski lift for the first time ever in my life.
I was standing in line all alone. As the instructor comes down the hill I ask him how to even get on and off of this thing. He said I could go with him so I did. As it was our turn he said “keep your board straight and up”. I asked why and he explained that if the board gets caught I will fall off the lift. Then it was time to get off of this horrible
