Narrative Essay On School Accident

I remember sitting on the school bus, on the way home. I was in the second to last seat. I had one of the longest bus rides. I lived at the edge between Merrimack and Bedford. I was first on the bus, but instead of taking the last seat, I sat in the seat before that, because I didn’t want to get those kids mad at me. So mostly those kids would just call me names, and insult me. Those kids were having a bad day, so they wanted to take it out on me. I never fought back, and if I said something, it would be a stupid comeback, that they would make fun of more. So I mostly just kept my mouth shut. It wasn’t a huge deal to me, I saw it as a part of my day. Just like I would get up 6:30, shower, and eat toast, it was normal for them to be on the bus …show more content…
He hated me, so that caused his immediate friends to bully me and hate me too. I still had plenty of friends, and was fairly popular, its just these kids that hated me. See I could of handled one kid bullying me, because there are still 100 other kids in your grade that won 't bully you. But when its 7 or 8 kids that bully you, they are everywhere. Those kids also rode my bus, and when they 're all around you, they can have one person bully you, and the others just laugh, and high five each other.
After about a year of being bullied, and the school not really doing anything useful about it, my parents made me join a karate class. I remember meeting the instructor Mr. Giroux, he was 6,4 about 50 and super skinny, although you could tell that he was covered in muscle. At first I was scared of this karate thing, because you would fight kids in class, and sometimes I would see the older classes get out, and a kid would have a bloody nose or bruises all over their

Giroux and he said I should pay more attention to when he talks about morals. After awhile I realized, that the morals, would prevent me from ever being into a fight. I progressed at karate and the morals. I became best in the class, and had to fight one of the black belt teachers for sparring and grappling. I was bullied a lot still, but never got in any fights, or let them get to me.
Over time most of the bullies left, because they no longer got to me, but there was one person left in the 5th grade who bullied me. He was about 3 inches shorter then me, had about 20 pounds on me, but skinny. He was coated in muscle from head to toe. He was a jerk to everyone, and people were scared of him. I mostly stayed out of his way, but that day he was in a very bad mood. He walked out on to the playground looking for someone to take it out on, and I was the first kid he

This isn’t what I planed when I started the ninth grade but you know what they say “plans change” so before I get ahead of my shelf let me give you some back ground information, like my name its Rider, Rider Smith I’m the average Quit stoner that didn’t take intimidation nor an offer of a fight lightly, I guess you could say I’m head strong. My first year at G.H.D High I skipped constantly, I already knew all the skippers back from T.H.C middle so that’s what I did for most of the year but this one day in lunch would change that, this big twelfth grader was going to beat the crap out this scrawny little kid so said “just don’t do it bra”. Well I guess he thought I meant or Ill fight you or something so he ended up caching an attitude for me but at that time I was around a bunch of my friends who didn’t want me to give him the time of the day so I just blew him off and gave him no attention that he so desperately wanted so bad.…

Throughout our short lives, we are tested with various challenges. Some of us prevail over them and move on, while others must endure them day after day. It is unfortunate that not all of us are blessed with perfect lives filled with grandeur, but if everyone lived a life without obstacles, we would forget what it meant to be human. We would forget how to use our skills to their fullest potential. Because it’s not the challenges in life that make us who we are, rather what we do to overcome them.…

From that experience I realized that if conflicts get out of hand, you should consult a parent or teacher. Don’t let anyone harass you if you didn’t do anything wrong. You shouldn’t be mean back, but tell them to cut it out. When the mean girl started teasing and bullying me, I let her instead of stopping her. That gave the bully satisfaction of hurting me.…

For me, it was not as serious as it could have been, unlike others who have experienced more physical or harsher verbal abuse by the bully. Fortunately, I was able to conquer my fears of going out and became more outgoing and did not let anything hold me back, whether I was playing sports or at work or just out with friends. Life is too short to be in constant fear or worry. When I got to high school I thought things were going to get worse, but because I was able to overcome, I achieved many of the goals that I strove to reach for like: getting high-honors all four years, winning two-state titles as a three-year starter in baseball, and making memories with friends that accepted me for who I am. In the end I do not regret anything and I believe that with the right support from family and friends anyone can learn to ignore the hate and strive to achieve anything they set their mind…
