I could see the shooter hiding in the distance. His head seemed to bob up and down but I could not tell. Suddenly, I see a plume of dust erupt beside me. The dust enters my mouth and I feel the dryness of my throat as the dust threatens to choke me. I realize it was a bullet, the phantom sniper was trying to shoot me. Another eruption of dust blocks my view of him, but my finger is on the trigger and ready to fire. I take one last breath and the dust clears as I take the shot and watch the sniper fall to his back. I can see the blood flowing off of his body onto the dirt. I look towards Elijah as I feel accomplished and safe again. (reference to Xavier killing the phantom
