Narrative Essay On My Sunday Day

Last Sunday was probably one of the worst Sundays I have had. It was like any other Sunday in the beginning. My brother and I came home from a weekend with my grandparents. AJ was in a bad mood, which was normal for these past few weeks, and I said hi to my dad as I went to go get some food. After that, I went to the living room to eat and do some homework before I start doing the dishes. AJ comes in a few minutes later, slamming the door on his way in. My dad, not knowing what was wrong, asked him about his attitude and mood. "Everything! Alena is being rude to me and you won 't stop asking me to do things! It 's non-stop!" AJ practically screams at my father. His response was to not yell at him, even though Dad had his voice raised. AJ yelled back and then Dad said he was going to go calm down in his room. On his way up the stairs, he shut the door forcefully. AJ went outside and sat on the deck. It was the calm before the storm, which it really was. Dad came out later to talk to AJ and they started yelling again. …show more content…
I was so happy to hear his voice but all he wanted to do was get out of jail. That meant paying the bail with money we didn 't have. I tried telling him how AJ was doing but all he said was "Yeah, that 's great Alena but tell me once you get me out." I couldn 't belive him. I didn 't pay his bail. I felt torn in two. I 'm his "number one" and "his rock." How could I not help him? But in reality I felt like he should be there, to learn some kind of lesson. How could I say that about my dad? I almost feel bad for saying it. Every time that phone rang, my breathing grew faster, my stomach felt sick. I just kept ringing and ringing and ringing. I, almost in an anxiety attack, left the house. As I opened the front door it was like I could breath again. I shut the door and I couldn 't hear the phone anymore.
