Money Pit

I was about to take a huge risk. My parents would hate me forever, but as a teenager of course I didn’t care and I thought well what is the worst that could happen. My dad said “ you’re not putting it in my shop!” while my moms said “you’re going to get hurt and I’m not going to be paying for any broken bones.” I was just ignoring them as I was getting my stuff gathered up. I stormed out the door of our house very angry and determined. My brother decided to go with me. We were going to Winnsboro to buy a dirt bike. To be more specific I was going to buy a Honda CRF250R. I had been waiting for this moment for 5 years. When I was 7 years old I asked my parents to buy me a dirt bike. They never would because they didn’t want me to get hurt. I wanted a dirt bike so bad. I asked for one every Christmas, but I never seem to have that dream come true. As you can see I found out that Santa wasn’t real pretty quick, because I knew that if he was real I would have had a dirt bike a lot sooner. You might think it’s funny but I was trying to be the best kid I could be, and every

I picked out a good spot to put it in the shop and parked it and unloaded all the thing that came with it like some oil, stand, oil filter, shock sox, new chain, etc. Than I went in to take a

When I was about nine years old, my family was debating about going to Cedar Point the upcoming weekend. I hadn't rode many roller coasters in my life at that time because I was only nine. Of course, trying to be manly, I totally agreed with their decision. My parents told me how big the roller coasters are, and how the roller coasters are some of the biggest in the world. I acted like I wasn't scared, and was talking about how I didn't care about the size of the roller coasters.…

A view seldom seen until then but everyone knew exactly what it was from and where it originated.…

The Giant Pool of Money Analysis Every individual in the United States wishes to be a homeowner because owning a home is considered as the ultimate achievement by majority of the population and is a symbol of successful and fulfilling life (Grant, Rick). So in the early 2000s when individuals were provided an extremely easy way of getting a loan and buying a home irrespective of their job and background, majority of them grabbed the opportunity. But, this scheme of simplifying mortgage rules and procedures led to overvaluation of mortgages based on an assumption that housing prices will continue to escalate led to the financial crisis of 2008 (Blumberg and Davidson). One of the biggest issue during crisis was that the decisions made around…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…
