I have lived my entire life, 17 years, next to the border of El Paso, TX and Juarez, Chihuahua. To the outside world, they might know this border as one of the most dangerous places in the world. But being born and raised in El Paso, I only know it as home or by its more familiar name my family has given it, Juárez Texas. Living right next to two countries has expanded my experiences and views I never thought possible, in more ways that I admit, it has shaped my thought process and opinions.
