Hello Julie, While reading your feedback, I cannot but to think of another quote: “The day we quit learning is the day we die.” (Michael Scott). It is true that what differentiate us as human beings among creatures, is the way we use our brain and mind in learning. When I was 14, I attended a church camp in the summer. This was not my usual church. It was named The Center for Spiritual Living, which meant that they accepted almost anything that was positive for the terms of religious belief. However, it was with a heavy lean towards Christianity, with a dash of various religious practice. Anyways, I was part of the teen group there for obvious reasons.…

He tried to protect me from the world, though some of the evils slipped through the cracks, the same evils he was able to efficiently hide when I was four. I had to watch as my grandmother became sicker by the day. Dialysis is a pain I would not wish on my greatest enemy. It did not only drain her blood, but her spirits as well. There is no greater pain than seeing a woman so strong begin to wither away.…

I was emotionally impacted in a sense of happiness that these individuals have the opportunity to adapt in state of the art hospitals that are more than just a hospital and that these hospitals are in our own backyard. For me to properly analyze the videos and the lesson, I broke the subject into three areas—Mind, Body, and Spirit. Mind: The ability of one to have goals and objectives in athletics creates a therapeutic environment for the mind with unique and unexplainable healing power. It refocuses one’s mindset from self to the needs of others. Athletics creates an environment for motivation, dedication, community, commitment, responsibility, confidence, self-esteem, and over-all mental well-being.…

Humble The Poet, an author, once said, “life doesn’t start after the obstacles; life is the obstacles.” Many think that once they get over the obstacle, they can move on. They fail to understand life is a obstacle. This idea drives my story, and my obstacle of life in which I was given a new life to live, that without it not only is my application incomplete but so am I. Imagine being a little kid constantly having to worry if tomorrow will ever come.…

Matt’s last words to me (Darra/Christine) were, “Thanks for keeping me sane”. Matt and I have known each other for the past eight years (in Second Life time that is 17,520 days); in that time we have explored Second life, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars and a few other virtual worlds together. He encouraged me to become proficient at WOW and Guild Wars but alas, I am a bit challenged in multiplayer games nonetheless, his patience helped me level up. I use this term because Matt always helped people level up. For instance, while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership I attended Penn State World Campus.…

Based on the activity, I scored a 19 which indicates that I am confident in my ability to care for a dying resident. In my 19 years on this earth so far, I have experienced some loss but not as difficult as others might have. For instance, I have witness my dog dying in front of my eyes and I lost my cousin who was the greatest friend I ever had, due to cancer. Personally, I believe I handle both situations quiet well. Although, that does not mean that I did not cry or question “why them?”.…

The reader is left to wonder if there isn’t a larger motive, other than the afterlife connected with religion in the American society. Clearly as defined by the reading these countries are prospering without the fear of God striking them down in retribution to the non-belief of the society. How can this be if everything Americans are led to believe that without religion in their lives, everything that happens will have a negative result. I would like to step back a bit back in time, take a look at some events that took place that led me to read this book and applaud the effort of the book. As a young child I spent lots of time with my grandparents.…
