I tore the paper down out of anger and banged my head on the wall. I did not know what to do.
Then, I heard a door open. I picked up the paper with my wife and daughter’s name on it and ran into the forest. A million questions were going through my head. I had no idea how I would save my family in time. It was too short of a notice. I could run in and grab them before they got boarded on, but we would get shot and killed instantly. God was I lost.
Then I heard rustling in the trees behind me. I dived behind the biggest rock I could see and peaked out through the side to see who it was. And God was I blown away, it was old Huck! I jumped out from behind the rock and ran to hug him. Huck responded:
“Oh my God! Jim? Well goddamn it is. What in the world are you doing
