The Escape

“Run Wonton, Run,” I kept telling myself in a hurry. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. “Trying to not get myself killed here,” in a rush telling myself. It was like a life and death situation. I saw in front of me a huge gap. For I second I thought it was the end for me, but I kept running. There it was only a few feet away and there was a platform on the other side. I knew there was only one way out of this…..

4 Hours Earlier Today “Dude how was detention last week?” as the kid behind me asked.

“The usual just go on your phone or mess around,” with a calm voice I was spoken.

As I entered the school I checked the dashboard for where my detention would have to be served today. “Hmm. E8. I heard

Let me guess there is a ghost in here something. Whatever all those guys who scared must have been a bunch of wusses. I looked around for anything suspicious but only saw 7 other kids around me. Oh well. I reached into my pocket but noticed that I didn’t bring my phone today. Looks like it's going to be a boring day today. I decided to make paper airplanes and throw them around just to try and get the teacher's attention until I realized she was asleep. Who hit me with something.” I yelled at me. I waited a few seconds for a reply but got nothing. This time yelled hello and boom a bunch of lights in front of me appeared with weird obstacles.

“Boom. kkkkrrrrggghhh!” a loud boulder comes falling behind me.

I looked behind me and there a loud hundred pound boulder came rolling after me and there I told myself “I am too young to die like this.” Running as far as my legs could go. A few yards ahead of me there was a gap. I looked about 7 feet long. There was no other way out of this either I jump or die. I was closing in quickly. Hurry up! Come on just jump and there I went flying through the air and landed on legs. That's when it all began.

I found myself lying on the floor. I thought I must have fainted from all the running causing me to dehydrate. Slowly and steady I pulled myself up. With a quick glance, there was a huge screen saying one down four more to go and then when I realized that this was an escape room.

With a deep sigh of relief, I answered to myself “One way in one way out. I have to get past all these obstacles and then I can go back home. Come to Wonton think about the children.
