Detention-Personal Narrative

At 4:15 detention gets out, but the problem is I wasn’t in detention. Swiftly, I dash down the hallways evading shelves and bookcases, and then again I made the mistake of looking back at the slim menacing figures of Principal Barrage’s deputies chasing after me. “Biffy!” I called out, trying to locate the presence of my friend. I walked back to where my friends were and told them to watch my stuff as I needed to use the bathroom but then the intercom buzzed again.
“BREAKING NEWS!” shouted Brad “(whispers) Back off Tina,” “ Your new principal is in the building! Go to the gym, pronto!” finished Brad. I sighed hesitantly since I really needed to go to the lavatory but I knew I should go to the gym first, so I held it in.

I moaned uncomfortably but quietly and say to James: “Okay, my wicked need to urinate has now gone up to

*Back In The Bathroom* I just finish washing my hands and I hear EDM music but how was it here in this time? I questioned myself but thought it was just my imagination. As I walk out and closer to the gym I hear the music getting louder, I questioned myself again yet again settled on the same decision. I hear Principal Barrage yell something like who is responsible for this… Responsible for what? I open the gym door with a thud and from what I can see now I know what Barrage meant. I chuckle while I had the chance but the principal just

My ears ring as the old school bus screeches to a halt. We hop off, and a dry, winter gust smacks my face. Instantly, the frigid wind sends my nose running. Walking towards the back door of the school, I grasp the cold metal handle, open it, and slam a piece of wood underneath to keep it ajar. After we become accustom to the cold shock, Mrs. Cimenski, our director, orders us to haul the heavy wooden tables and a set of four lockers toward our designated backstage area.…

It is 7:23 a.m. on a Thursday morning, the pass allowing tardiness to first hour is tucked away in my tattered blue backpack. I sit in my car gazing at the quiet building. I have seven minutes to make it up the staircase, adorned with two lamp posts. I, along with many others, have visited Morgan Federal, the bank across the street, countless times and never realized just what was in the vicinity. A friend who works next door in the courthouse suggested I profile this place and gave the directions: “It’s in the old jail,” as if that was a common reference automatically understood.…
