Personal Narrative On Death Or 2149

Death or 2149 I was a normal average young adult until a horrific change happened in my life. I have been diagnosed with cancer, this is a big shock for me and especially for my family. All hope seemed lost until, my mom came back one day with a flyer I didn’t think much of this flyer at first, I thought it was just some random flyer you get in the mail very so often, but it turned out to be one of the most important flyers in my whole life. It was a flyer to go see a doctor who apparently had the cure to cancer, I was so ecstatic at that moment I thought every problem in the world would be fixed. Nothing could possibly go wrong, I thought. On the next day I went to visit the doctor's office, the doctor's name was Dr. Scott he was a very …show more content…
The doctor said yes and what is so surprising. I told the doctor everything, where I was from, who I am, what year I am from, and so on. The doctor was shocked he immediately discharged me from the hospital. After, the discharge I left the hospital and explored the city I presume it is New York it looks kind of familiar. Anyways I was exploring New York, I saw all these new futuristic things like flying cars, holographic tvs, and a giant space elevator! I was still exploring the city when I noticed some cops looking at me funny. I realized I forgot what my main goal was it was to cure my cancer. I ran yelling anyone know how to cure cancer, then I bumped into a guy he said he knew how to cure cancer all I had to do was to go to the other end of town and go to this place named Cancer Cure and Time Travel Company. I immediately started my journey, I stole one of the flying cars and began on the …show more content…
I got off at the place and run into the place, I shut the door and locked it that bought me a little time I raced over to the doctor he said I had to wait in line. I pleaded with the doctor I told him it was an emergency he still ignored me until the cops started banging on the door after that he quickly let me in. I went in his lab there was a operating desk and a time traveling machine he said he will give me the cure, but if I took the cure I would not feel its effects if I go back in time so the option is either go back in time or take the cure. It was a hard decision, I was taking my time and decided on one conclusion, Before I executed it the cops came in the room and started shooting at me they missed a couple times, then one of their bullets was definitely set to penetrate the middle of my body I thought I was done, then the doctor stepped in front of me and risked his life I tried to talk to him to help him he said no and he said to execute my plan so I did I listened to

Sorry for the deception, but since you are already here please read on. I may not have ten reason that I will die alone, but I firmly believe they will find me one day, lazy-boy in the recline position, a spilled glass of scotch by my side (hope it’s the cheap stuff; hate to waste anything good), my NETFLIX queue empty, and a cat sniffing at my rotting corpse (wait, I don’t have a cat – how did he get in here?) It may not work out exactly like that, perhaps I will go quietly in my sleep with family at my side, but I’m pretty sure I won’t leave a second wife behind as a widow.…
