I slowly walked away from Mckenzie and mouthed ‘talk to you later’ and she nodded then bounced away. I quietly rounded a corner and hid, trying to listen in on Nathaniel and his friend. Even though he bothered the shit out of me. I still was kinda into him. Ugh! My life.
“So has it come off yet?” His friend asked while looking at the back of his neck. Nathaniel was wearing a big hoodie that was covering his neck. They were talking about my sharpie 2.0 tat I gave him. I stifle a laugh.
“No. I have like tried to clean it off like 50 times. It’s fucking annoying.” Finally I couldn’t take it. I burst out laughing and rounded the corner.
“Oh. Are we discussing your beautiful tattoo? I already told you. Four days.” It felt good to be confident.

He wasn 't all that attractive. Probably mid forties. He wore a wife beater and blue jeans that were caked with dirt and mud. He was a tad over weight and it definitely made him look even worse. "Lily! Come out now!" I waited til he was right under me and I leaped and slammed him into the ground.
It took him a second, but rose back up. "What did you do to Lily?" He scream with rage.
"She 's dead." I decided to just piss him off because the more angry a person gets, the more they mess up.
And he did just that he took a swing, but I dodged and swung my leg into his side and he flew to the side. I waited for him to rise. When he did, he yelled "You bitch!" And came charging. He ducked his head low and came at me and I moved out of the way and elbowed him in the neck. I knew I should stop before I kill him, but he had kidnapped this girl and hurt her. He deserved to

In Sleeping Freshmen Never Lie by David Lubar, the scene I choose for the rewrite in another character’s point of view is the one when Vernon attacks Scott from behind while Kyle and Kelly watched. This was on page 244. I choose this scene because there is so much action and I feel I can write about this scene because so much occured. The original scene is told from Scott’s perspective. Now, the perspective I will be writing it in is Vernon’s; so, we will get his perspective.…

Gullivan slumped against the cold stone wall, letting out a heavy sigh. His mind was numb from staring at the same cell door for days on end, and he was beginning to think his journey had really come to an end. Gullivan’s fingers tapped incessantly, itching to grab onto a solid book. He longed to feel the rough texture of crinkled papers, run his hands across the weathered edges of well-loved covers. He had long missed the simple comforts of his desk and home library, and perhaps even the mice that dug holes in his beloved bookshelves.…
