The only thing he would tell her was that it was formal and pack a bag for a two-night stay. That male definitely had a romantic streak. Aileana wondered if it was a Selkie trait, or was it just him. She certainly wouldn’t complain about Kendrick's romantic inclinations.
She had a lovely midnight-blue silk Georgette column dress picked out among her dressy clothes she’d brought from home. The floor-length gown had knee high slits on both sides as well as an interesting cut-out in the back near the waist. The shoulders of the dress were also cut-out with a high neckline. In the film for example, King Hrothgar commits suicide, there is no evidence in the text supporting this. The film implies that Beowulf takes interest in the queen, while in the text there is no evidence of any romantic interest among them. This line from the film shows Beowulf’s interest, “Me It's not me he wants, my queen” (Memorable Quotes for Beowulf (2007))? The film states that Beowulf not only had an affair with Grendel’s Mother but also had a child with her. How do you remember your childhood friends? Whenever I think of my childhood friends, I remember all the amazing memories we had; being in control of our neighborhood, making our own treehouse, killing a few snakes, rolling a wagon around like we were cool, and just having the time of our lives. We did not care what people thought of us and we all encouraged one another to be ourselves, not like one another. Maybe we did not say that, but it was an unspoken thing; we were not just those friends that had fun together, we were there for one another during the hard times too. We would not give “advice” but we would say, “It is going to be okay”, and go get ice cream from the ice cream truck.…
