She never thought it would leave. Why would it leave? It’s the outdoors, the trees, the grass, the flowers, the bees, the fresh air. But it left. Anne went into hiding and wasn’t able to smell or hear the sounds and the smells of the outdoors. She was so happy when she was in a camp because she was finally outside. She could finally smell the fresh air and hear the birds.
Even after everything they went through, all of the torture and pain, they were still able to forgive them for it. Eva Kor was able to forgive the doctor for all of the experiments that he did on her and her sister. Even after they went through everything, they were still able to find forgiveness.
